Happy October, lovelies! 🎃👻 Wow. September Happy October, lovelies! 🎃👻 Wow. September was a blur! I was chugging along finishing KISS OF SKYE (Skye Druids #8), wrapping up the Dragon Kings Kickstarter, launching AFTER MIDNIGHT (Skye Druids #7), and traveling to Montana for the Books by the Lake signing. I was so busy, that the month flew by without me even realizing it. It was a fantastic month, though. The furbabies are doing good, the writing is going great, my release and KS were fantastic, and Glacier National Park was unforgettable! But now we're heading into my favorite month of the year. I had my Halloween up early September, so I've been in full Fall mode before it was even Fall. 😄 After getting a hint of autumn while in Montana, I'm eyeing my high 80s/low 90s weather and begging for some cooler temps while I finish my read through of KISS OF SKYE before it goes to my editor. I'm lingering in this book because I love it so much. I can't wait for you guys to read it! The last quarter of the year is always pretty hectic with the holidays and getting things in place for 2026. I've got one more book to write this year, and it's another Elven Kingdoms story. I always love diving back into that world. I'm really curious to see what characters pop up and where they take me. I have an idea, and its a part we've not seen before. 😎 Hope you have a fun, relaxful, joyous October! DG ❣️

Finally home from Montana/Glacier National Park. I Finally home from Montana/Glacier National Park. It was an amazing trip. Though, I do believe coming from below sea level to those mountains and thinking I could hike an 8.5 mile, 2000 ft elevation trail was a *dreadful* mistake. But I made it to the top (and back down. Why does nobody talk about how painful the descents are??!!!) I'm still feeling the pain of that. Not sure I'll be walking normal for another week, but I made it to the top (and down). And yes, I look like death warmed over in those pictures. I didn't take any when we were done, because I was barely breathing at that point. 😁 (I laugh now. I soooooo wasn't then) Driving the hairpin turns on Going to the Sun road in Glacier was nothing compared to that hike. lol. And I got to see the continental divide. So cool! Was only graced with seeing a raven and a few chipmunks, but still a stunning visit! Montana, you were perfect. I'll be back! ❤
